New Hampshire Declares Emergency for Trucking Relief

On April 4, New Hampshire declared an emergency due to snow storms and below average temperatures throughout the state. To ensure the smooth delivery of essential goods like propane, natural gas, gasoline, and fuel oil, New Hampshire is providing relief to 49 CFR Parts 390-397, a temporary waiver of International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) requirements, and a temporary waiver of International Registration Plan (IRP) requirements.

This emergency declaration is in effect through April 15, 2024. Additional rules and restrictions apply. This emergency declaration does not apply to the federal interstate highway system. The emergency declaration is available to view by clicking here.
