NTTC's 2021-2022 Finalists & Grand Champion for the Professional Tank Truck Driver of the Year Contest

 

 

The National Tank Truck Carriers is pleased to showcase the eight professional tank truck drivers who were selected as this year's Champion Finalists for the Professional Tank Truck Driver of the Year Award.

These drivers advanced to the final round of the selection process in Washington, D.C. where a panel of industry professionals judged these eight Champion Finalists on their knowledge of the tank truck industry, dedication to safety, ability to communicate the industry’s messages, overall safe driving record, and their positive community efforts outside of their driving responsibilities.

The 2021-2022 Professional Tank Truck Driver of the Year Grand Champion was unveiled at the NTTC’s 2022 Annual Conference & Exhibits at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront on April 23-26th, 2022. This year's Grand Champion was recognized as Thomas Frain, with Highway Transport Chemical. During the Grand Champion’s one-year term, he will serve as the face of the industry, representing NTTC at safety-focused events throughout the year, and sharing NTTC's mission of safety and education with the general public.

NTTC's Professional Driver of the Year Finalist Packet Released

The National Tank Truck Carriers’ Professional Driver of the Year program recognizes a tank truck driver with an incredible driving record, a demonstrated commitment to safety, and a history of serving their community. Each year during NTTC's Annual Conference, 8 finalists are presented for this prestigious award. These hand picked finalists have gone above and beyond in their service to the tank truck industry, and National Tank Truck Carriers is honored to present this year's finalists and grand champion.

 

NTTC's Driver of the Year finalists are chosen for the traits they display on a daily basis, including leadership, perseverance, community service, and great public speaking skills. These finalists' exemplary character and speaking abilities are available to be showcased at events and meetings across the US & Canada. Whether in regard to the value of the trucking industry, potential career options, or workplace safety, these professional drivers are well versed in captivating every room in which they occupy.
