The Annual Conference welcomes Inky Johnson as our Keynote Speaker, sponsored by Quala.

Inky is a former University of Tennessee defensive back who refused to allow misfortune on the football field to stop him from pursuing a life of purpose. In 2006, a seemingly normal college football game changed everything when a routine tackle turned into a career-ending injury, and his perspective of “normal” changed. Now, normal is a paralyzed right arm. Normal is daily pain. Normal is constant physical challenges. Normal is also mentoring athletes and inspiring audiences. 

Instead of focusing on what he can’t do, Inky chooses to take advantage of all that he can accomplish, in spite of his challenges – a lesson that applies to any organization or business audience. His injury did not destroy his motivation or crush his spirit. Rather, he harnessed his inner fortitude and transformed what could have been a tragedy into an inspirational success story.

 

  Bob Costello, ATA’s Chief Economist & Senior Vice President of International Trade Policy and Cross-Border Operations presents his Economic Update on the State of the Tank Truck Industry, discussing the current landscape of our industry and what to expect from the future. 

 

NTTC will reveal the Grand Champion of The Professional Tank Truck Driver of the Year Contest, sponsored by Great West Casualty Company. This award recognizes a tank truck driver with an incredible driving record, a demonstrated commitment to safety, and a history of serving their community. One of the eight Champion Finalist drivers will be crowned the Grand Champion at the Driver of the Year Award Banquet on Monday, April 26.  

 

     The North American Safety Contest, sponsored by Heil Trailer International will award the esteemed Heil Trophy to two companies whose safety records rise above and beyond the competition. These companies will be revealed on Tuesday, April 26 at the North American Safety Award Annual Luncheon.
