NTTC PAC supports candidates for Congress who understand the issues impacting the for-hire tank truck industry. Contributions help strengthen the industry’s voice in Washington and support advocacy efforts on behalf of tank truck carriers and suppliers.

About NTTC PAC

Under federal law, corporations are prohibited from using general treasury funds to make contributions in connection with federal elections. Trade association PACs, such as NTTC PAC, provide a legal and ethical way for eligible employees of member companies to participate in federal election activities.

NTTC PAC’s mission is to support candidates for Congress who understand the issues that impact the tank truck industry. NTTC PAC is bipartisan and determines candidate eligibility based on factors such as voting record, committee assignments, and support of issues important to tank truck operations.

All funds raised by NTTC PAC go directly toward supporting federal candidates and strengthening the industry’s advocacy efforts.

Who Can NTTC PAC Solicit?

Federal law only allows NTTC PAC to solicit contributions from the management and executive personnel of NTTC member companies.

Prior to soliciting within member companies, NTTC PAC must receive a signed authorization form from the company’s primary contact. Only the company’s primary contact may grant authorization for eligible employees within the company to participate and may provide such authorization to only one trade association per calendar year.

Note that an individual can still contribute to more than one federal PAC, but can authorize only one for solicitation of employees.

PACs may receive up to $5,000 from an individual per year, and a PAC is limited to giving $5,000 to a candidate election.

NTTC PAC evaluates candidates based on past support of issues impacting the tank truck industry.

Committee leadership and transportation-related responsibilities are considered.

Industry Understanding

NTTC PAC values candidates who understand trucking and transportation operations.

How to Contribute

NTTC PAC accepts online donations through PayPal. Donors must be U.S. citizens and contributions must come from a personal account. Please review applicable FEC regulations for additional information.
